Is an LED Video Wall the same as a big TV?
No. A television is a fixed-size consumer product with a frame. An LED Video Wall is a seamless architectural display built from modular panels that tile into one image. It has no bezel grid. It can be sized to the room, including widths that no television offers. It is specified for the space and installed as a permanent part of the building.
What is the difference between an indoor and an outdoor LED Video Wall?
They are different products. Indoor walls are built for climate-controlled rooms and stay usable with the lights on. Outdoor walls use weather-rated panels and a higher brightness spec for sun, heat, and rain. An indoor wall does not belong outside. Prestige Visual Systems specifies indoor or outdoor after seeing the site.
Can you install a wall in an existing home, or only in new construction?
Both. Most existing rooms can take a wall with limited modification. New construction lets us set power and structure earlier. A site visit decides what the room needs.
Will it work in a bright room or only in a dark media room?
It is built for real rooms. Indoor LED Video Walls hold an image with daylight in the space. Outdoor-rated walls are specified for sun. You do not need a blacked-out room for the wall to work.
How long does installation take?
A typical installation takes three to five days on site once the design is approved and the panels have arrived. Design and procurement usually take several weeks before that. Outdoor walls and larger commercial rooms can take longer. You get a timeline in the proposal.
What does an LED Video Wall cost?
You are not buying a television. Size, pixel density, indoor or outdoor rating, and the structure behind the wall all shape the number. We walk the space first. Then you get a written proposal for that room. Projects start at $50,000.
